description:  This is one of the artist's favorite Aspen paintings.  It depicts a place where she longs to be.  She incorporated all the elements that she loves most: sparkling river, rugged mountains, golden leaves, shadows on the trees.  The biggest tree in the foreground is so textured that it literally protrudes from the painting!  It truly feels like bark to the touch!  This is the artist's vision of utopia in the Rockies!
